San Diego Regional Center
Regional Centers are private, non-profit corporations that operate under contract with California’s Department of Developmental Services. They support children and adults with developmental disabilities, who have or are at risk for a developmental delay or disability, and who are at high-risk of parenting an infant with a disability. There are 21 regional centers in the state of California, which together serve over 225,000 individuals with, or at risk for, developmental disabilities and their families
San Diego Unified School District Special Education Division
The San Diego Unified School District is dedicated to identifying, locating and assessing all students within the district from birth to 21 years of age who may have disabilities, and providing appropriate support and/or related services to those students determined by an educational evaluation
University of California San Diego Autism Center of Excellence
The Autism Center of Excellence (ACE) and Healthy Infant Development Laboratory is dedicated to discovering the causes of autism and paving the way for more effective autism treatment. Focus is  on research to help identify what autism looks like in babies as young as 12 months
